Measures and Time Signatures
Measures
Measures help organize music by dividing it into smaller, manageable sections, giving the music a clear structure.
Music is divided into measures by using bar lines.
The distance between two bar lines is called a measure.
When the piece of music is completed, you will need to add a double bar line at
the end.
Time Signatures
A time signature is a symbol written at the beginning of a piece of music that indicates the number of beats per measure.
